Insider has reported multiple instances where travelers have been able to use their AirTags to recover their belongings: A woman tracked her daughter's lacrosse gear, a man watched his wallet travel to over 35 cities on an American Airlines plane, and a boy who lost his $12,000 bike was able to retrieve it. In January, Insider reported that Google searches of "Apple air tags for luggage" had grown by more than 5,000% over the past year.
